Position Overview TLC seeks a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to join our dedicated faculty. This position involves teaching Spanish language and culture to students across K-8 grade levels, with opportunities to integrate outdoor and experiential learning approaches into language instruction. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to student-centered education and be excited to work collaboratively in a close-knit school community. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate Spanish curriculum for K-8 students Create learning experiences that connect Spanish language and culture Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families about student growth Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular connections Participate in school-wide events, family engagement activities, and professional development Contribute to TLC's warm, inclusive school culture and mission

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field required; teaching certification preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in K-8 settings

Language Proficiency:

Native or near-native fluency in Spanish; strong command of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and cultural knowledge

Pedagogical Skills:

Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners and age groups

Technology:
