Aug 26, 2026 Job Description Dover Regional Career and Technical Education (CTE) Culinary Teacher responsible for providing in-classroom course instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students' individual needs. Applicant should be able to integrate academic, industry and technical content into a program that meets all necessary competencies and standards for Culinary Arts. Candidate should be able to teach all aspects of Culinary including but not limited to working with professional kitchen equipment, food, beverage, professional cookery, sanitation, professional Food Service Management, front of the house and back of the house operations. A practical knowledge of industrial, technical and business operations, together with firsthand knowledge of career and technical education is highly desirable. Candidate should be able to prepare students for a wide variety of careers within the Culinary field. Knowledge of the Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheet software, Web Page maintenance, electronic testing, electronic evaluation programs, as well as basic level troubleshooting skills in a laboratory setting is required. Needs to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, the community, business and industry and postsecondary, preparing students for college and career readiness. Applicant must have the ability to work independently and with a team using effective communications skills with little direction. Strong interpersonal and advanced verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present information to groups of individuals, guide decision making, and build consensus. Must be willing to collaborate with peers and work in a team teaching environment.Position Type:
