Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students in a school community committed to inclusion and individualized learning. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate paraprofessionals ready to make a difference. Two positions are available, working in both a high school and a middle school setting close to Jaffrey, NH. One assignment involves working one-on-one with an 8th-grade student who is Autistic and nonverbal, providing both personal care and academic assistance. The second assignment focuses on assisting a small group of high school students with IEPs, ensuring equitable access to educational experiences in the general population.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role Ability to provide toileting and personal care support as needed Comfortable assisting with academics within diverse classroom environments Patient, compassionate approach toward students with varying needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support according to each student's IEP and learning goals Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and daily hygiene as required Support students in classroom participation, transitions, and activities Foster an inclusive, respectful, and positive environment for all students Collaborate with educators, therapists, and school staff to implement strategies and accommodations
Key Details:
Middle school position: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (32.5 hours/week), 1:1 with a student High school position: 8:40 AM to 3:33 PM (32.5 hours/week), working with a small group
Workdays:
