A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. MRAPP is recruiting Afterschool Youth Leaders for five Keene-area sites operated by the Keene Family YMCA. This is a flexible, paid part-time job that can also be used as an internship or practicum, depending on your school's requirements. You do not need to be a college student or complete an internship to apply. What you'll do Lead or assist with games, clubs, enrichment activities, and creative projects Support students during snack, homework, free play, and transitions Build positive, supportive relationships with school-age children Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment Work with site staff to support daily program routines and safety What we're looking for At least 16 years old Available between 2:00 and 5:30 p.m. for at least two weekdays Dependable, encouraging, and comfortable working with children Able to communicate and work well as part of a team Prior experience with children is helpful but not required What you'll receive $14-$16 per hour, based on experience and education A flexible schedule of 2-5 weekdays Free youth-development training Resume-building support and professional mentoring Practical experience in education, recreation, youth development, or human services Internship or practicum coordination when applicable No nights or weekends A schedule that follows the school calendar One application, personalized matching Apply once through MRAPP.
