Teaching Full Job Description Position:
After-School Enrichment STEM Teacher Do you love working with kids and technology and have previous experience in Early Childhood Education, have experience working with children in a preschool/elementary school/middle school/high school setting, enjoy creating STEM activities, and willing to learn elementary coding? If you answered yes, this might be the job for you! What are we looking for? Code Ninjas Robbinsville is looking for a Instructor who can help create a fun and safe environment where children ages 5 to 14 can explore basic coding and STEM activities. The Instructor will be responsible for monitoring and teaching Code Ninjas program as well as developing curriculum to support their technological development.
Responsibilities include:
Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow Learn and teach Code Ninjas' curriculum Follow opening/closing processes Provide student's progress updates to parents during every session Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards Report weekly to Center Director on progress Report daily to Center Director with respect to day's activities and productivity in dojo
Qualifications:
Basic coding experience required. Experience working with children ages 5 and up (1 year - Required) Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching Patient, kind, and understanding Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning Willing to learn coding and explore new technology Ideal for school teachers or Early/Middle Childhood Education students!
