The Summer XL Instructor provides instructional and academic support to dual enrollment students participating in the Summer XL Program. This grant-funded, temporary position is responsible for delivering course instruction, facilitating student engagement, and supporting student success through tutoring and in-class assistance..ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver in-class instruction for SXL-001 (College Skills Seminar) Develop and administer student assessments, assignments, and grading Provide in-class tutoring and academic support to dual enrollment students Monitor and supervise students during workshops and program activities Identify and address student academic challenges, escalating concerns as appropriate Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with program staff to support student success initiativesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a part-time position, expected to work up to 24 hours per week. Work schedule may vary depending on program needs. This is a grant-funded, temporary position with an anticipated assignment period of June 15th through August 28th. This is position is contingent upon grant funds. Please note that assigned tasks and responsibilities span both campuses for all MCCC positions.ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Master's degree in English, education, or related field from an accredited institution. Experience working with high school or dual enrollment populations.CORE COMPETENCIES
