Role:

Henderson Christian Academy in Henderson, NV is looking for a flexible and dependable Floater/On-Call staff member to join our team! This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves working with students across a variety of settings and classrooms.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-call coverage across multiple classrooms and grade levels as needed Support lead teachers with daily instruction, activities, and classroom management Supervise and engage students in a safe, nurturing, and faith-based environment Adapt quickly to varying classroom routines, procedures, and expectations Assist with student transitions, lunch, recess, and other daily activities Maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere in the absence of the regular teacher Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and parents as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred but not mandatory Flexible availability and ability to report on short notice Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills Alignment with Christian values and a faith-based educational mission Ability to pass a background check and meet Nevada state requirements Reliable, punctual, and adaptable team player
