The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. This position involves working to create a fun and positive environment for our students when their school day is over. Arts and crafts, outdoor activities, homework time, and snack time are all part of the program. This job is perfect for a college student or person seeking to start a career in education! Responsibilities Provide homework help to students in grades K-8. Provide supervision during activities. Make sure every student has a snack and drink (provided by the school). Plan and organize appropriate after-school activities (i.e., Art Projects, outdoor/indoor games) Answer the door and keep a sign-out sheet for student pickup. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working with children K-8 preferred. Criminal background check required for hire (provided by the school). CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required. (The school offers assistance to those in need of initial certification or recertification.)
