In this energetic position, you will facilitate fun and educational activities, supervise children to ensure their safety, and support their social and emotional development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and growth for every child in our program. Responsibilities Supervise children during before- and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical activity Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment Implement youth development programs aligned with educational goals and developmental needs Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and team members regarding children's progress and any concerns Follow all first aid protocols and emergency procedures to respond promptly to injuries or incidents Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care in collaboration with specialists when necessary Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and positive environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including camp or youth programs Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Certified in CPR and First Aid; AED operation experience preferred Ability to facilitate youth group activities, tutoring sessions, or theater-based programs to enhance engagement Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is a plus Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety, nurturing, and encouragement Outdoor work experience for supervising activities in various environments is beneficial Team leadership capabilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and program coordinators Compassionate approach rooted in child-centered care practices; familiarity with Christian counseling or similar supportive techniques is advantageous This dynamic role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about fostering young minds' growth while gaining valuable experience in youth development.
