Summary Heir Force Community School is seeking a passionate Mathematics or Science Teacher to join our educational team for the 2025-2026 school year. This role is vital in shaping the mathematical understanding of our students and contributing to their overall academic success. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards. Teach various mathematical concepts, including algebra and differential equations, to students of diverse backgrounds. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Utilize instructional design principles to create effective teaching materials. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty regarding academic performance and needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education, with a focus on mathematics education preferred & Ohio licensure. Strong knowledge of algebra and instructional design principles. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents. Experience in lesson planning and classroom management is highly desirable. Familiarity with various teaching methodologies, including Montessori, is a plus.
