Job Description

HeartMatters Digital Media Safety Instructor/Teacher Job Description This position is perfect for an energetic and passionate person eager to teach students in the In-School Program for K-12. The In-School Program provides digital media safety education for students in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Eastern Oklahoma.
Duties include:
Helping develop curriculum when needed Coordinating supplies needed for classes Preparing at least a week in advance for each class Teaching and leading classes Assisting with Event Planning (school-related events) Traveling to surrounding schools (travel reimbursement provided) Preparing and presenting at school assemblies, chapels, and other events Attending open houses, back-to-school nights, and other events where HeartMatters hosts a table/booth. Skills Excellent with children Energetic Organized Classroom management skills Time management skills Self-starter who works well on their own as well as in a team Good written and verbal communication Flexible and adaptable Minimum one year of experience teaching or working with children/youth
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
