The YMCA's After School program is growing fast and we are seeking outstanding staff to support our school-age department and grow into leadership roles.
Responsibilities:
The After School Leader & Driver is responsible for assisting Child Care Leadership in the implementation of programming for a group of school age children. This role is responsible for participating in activities for school-aged children that foster overall character building in a before/afterschool program setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Participate in a variety of activities for school-aged children; Follow program schedule including snack time, homework time, cleanup and other times set for activities; Assist in maintaining high standard of health and safety keeping the health and welfare of all children in mind at all times; Participate and assist in schools out camp. Driving kids to and from school after school in our YMCA vans.
Qualifications:
At least 21 years of age (required) CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date. Holds and maintains a valid drivers license Enrolled and remaining current in the Oregon Criminal Registry.
