Job Description

Southeast Delco School District READ Alliance After School Program Lead Teacher (Internal Only) 2026-2027
School Years Location:
Exact building TBD. The hourly rate with students is $35.00. The hourly rate without students is $28.00.
Schedule:
Program runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Teacher hours are 3:15 PM to 5:15 PM. High School Teen Leader hours are 3:15 PM go 5:15 PM. Exact program dates are TBD by the program coordinator.
Position Requirements:
Valid PA Teaching Certification. Must be current Southeast Delco School District employee. Demonstrated ability to work with both early childhood and high school students in a structured, individualized one-to-one tutoring setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as a substitute for both tutoring and literacy rooms as needed. Organize family and student engagement efforts in consultation with the site's Family and Community Engagement Specialist. Maintains site attendance records for the duration of the program. Organize and distribute snacks. Collect and analyze Read Alliance benchmark data. Submit academic and attendance reports. Attend weekly check-in meetings.
