Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding full-time contract role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in dynamic school environments near Media, PA. With multiple openings at both middle and high school settings, this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact in students' daily learning, behavior, and personal success. Positions are available immediately through June 10, 2027.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma required School-based experience (required) Must be able to work comfortably with SPED students and those with significant behavioral challenges Experience in educational support, behavioral management, and 1:1 student services Comfortable working in an urban setting CPR certification (or willingness to complete prior to start) Valid PA clearances and background check (or ability to obtain) Reliable transportation Strong professional references Must be able to work on-site during scheduled school hours Ability to work with the specific caseload for which you are submitted Candidates for two middle school positions must be male Standby candidates will receive interview priority; placements managed for quality review
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students requiring behavioral and educational assistance Implement individualized behavioral interventions as needed Support classroom teachers with lesson adaptations and classroom management Maintain clear documentation of student progress Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
