Do you enjoy helping students who are bright and capable but struggle with organization, time management, follow-through, motivation, or academic overwhelm? We are seeking warm, reliable educators to provide personalized executive function coaching for students in Grades 6-9 throughout the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley areas. At Peak Academics, we believe meaningful growth happens through connection, consistency, and individualized support. Our whole-child approach blends executive functioning instruction with relationship-building, accountability, encouragement, and practical systems that help students feel more capable and successful both academically and personally. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy mentoring students and supporting not only what they are learning, but also how they manage learning, responsibilities, and daily demands. This is a hybrid role that includes both in-person sessions and brief remote check-ins/support throughout the week. Hours build gradually based on your availability and client needs and typically range from 5-10+ hours per week during after-school and early evening hours. Local candidates only, please.
What You'll Do:
Provide 1:1 executive function coaching for middle and high school students Help students develop systems related to organization, planning, task initiation, prioritization, time management, and assignment tracking Support students with homework management, study strategies, test preparation, and academic accountability Guide students in building routines, self-monitoring skills, and greater independence Conduct brief remote check-ins with students between sessions to support accountability and follow-through Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, progress, and support strategies Foster a supportive, encouraging relationship that helps students build confidence and ownership over their learning
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education Multiple years of classroom teaching experience Experience working with middle school and/or high school students Strong understanding of executive functioning challenges, ADHD, and student support strategies Ability to build rapport with students while maintaining structure and accountability Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort using technology and communicating with students remotely Whole-child, student-centered mindset Reliable transportation for in-home sessions Valid fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain) Preferred but
