Job Description

Afterschool Program Staff Heathwood Hall Episcopal School believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to its success. POSITION SUMMARY
Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is seeking caring, energetic, and reliable part-time staff members to our program. The program serves children ages 2 to 14 in a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
Reports To:
Director of Extended Programs, Chris McDuffie Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 2:30p-6:00p, at least three days per week
Pay:
starting$12.00/hour Essential Duties Creating a safe, caring learning environment for students after school Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack, homework assistance, fun activity, and free time Taking attendance Keeping detailed sign-out records to ensure students are picked up by an approved individual Preparing snacks Planning activities and crafts Supervising and engaging with students and ensuring a safe, positive environment Specific Job Skills Previous experience in child care Team player Flexibility with availability and assignment Ability to take direction and work well with others Have strong communication skills Working Conditions Expansive school campus with 122+ acres, must be able to travel between buildings independently.
