Creative Kids' After School and Summer Camp programs are hiring staff (Counselors) with experience preferred. We are hiring energized, creative, responsible workers to keep a fun and safe environment for children while overseeing, instructing, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for our great group of students ages 5-12. Several positions are available for a growing program.Positions are available for:
•After School Counselor:
Work Schedule is 1:30pm to 6:00/6:30, Monday through Friday. Work week will be approximately 20 hours a week Monday through Friday. Opportunity is available to continue working into the next program(Summer Camp) for continuous employment. A clean background check is required at the applicant's expense and must have a clean record. Pay depends on experience. Wage range is $12.00- $16.
Duties:
- Assist with organizing and implementing daily schedules and routines
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting teamwork and inclusivity
- Provide guidance and support to campers in developing social skills and behavior management
- Collaborate with other staff to create a positive and enriching experience
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Keeping a clean environment for the children
Skills:
- Ability to educate and engage students in various activities
- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and fellow staff members
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Basic first aid knowledge is preferred
- Patience, enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for working with children This position offers competitive pay based on experience.
