Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Full-Time Middle School (6th and 7th grade) Science Teacher All Saints Catholic School is a three-time Blue Ribbon award-winning PreK3-8th Grade Catholic School in the Diocese of Dallas. As an innovative and academically excellent school, All Saints is committed to upholding a strong Catholic Identity, fostering partnerships with parents, and achieving academic excellence. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School 6th and 7th Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our team, providing a high-quality education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development.
Job Summary:
As a member of the Middle School team, the Science Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated science instruction to students in 6th and 7th grade, as well as having 6th-grade homeroom responsibilities. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values into the curriculum and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to excel academically and grow in their faith.
Responsibilities:
Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Act as a witness to the Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church Plan and deliver standards-based math instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners. Differentiate instruction to support students with varying abilities and learning styles. Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to engage students in learning. Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic values and principles into the science curriculum. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and spiritual development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and achievements. Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification in the state of Texas. Experience teaching science at the middle school level (experience in a Catholic school preferred). Strong knowledge of science content, pedagogy, and instructional strategies. Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school.
