Role Description The Private Homeschool Educator will design and deliver a tailored homeschool curriculum that aligns with educational standards and the learner's interests and strengths. This part-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX involves planning daily lessons, facilitating engaging instruction across core subjects, and assessing progress through assignments, projects, and regular feedback. The educator will create a structured yet flexible learning environment, integrate creative and experiential learning activities, and maintain clear records of attendance, grades, and academic milestones. The role also includes collaborating with caregivers on educational goals, adjusting teaching methods as needed, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning space. Qualifications Experience in K-12 education, homeschooling, or private tutoring, with the ability to design and implement individualized lesson plans. Strong instructional skills in core academic subjects (e.g., math, language arts, science, social studies) and comfort integrating project-based learning. Demonstrated classroom or one-on-one management skills, including setting routines, maintaining focus, and supporting diverse learning styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with caregivers and provide clear progress updates. Ability to incorporate creativity, critical thinking, and character development into daily instruction, aligned with family values and goals. High level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion, with respect for privacy and a commitment to a safe and inclusive learning environment. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred; teaching certification or relevant homeschool experience is a plus. Availability for part-time, on-site instruction in Dallas, TX, with a willingness to adapt schedules and methods as needs evolve.
