El Paso, TX Job Details Part-time $13 - $15 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Collaboration Working with students Performing background checks Working with youth Full Job Description Kids Yoga Instructor (After-School Program) Position Summary We Are One Education is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate Kids Yoga Instructor to lead engaging after-school yoga classes for elementary-aged students. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children develop strength, flexibility, confidence, mindfulness, and emotional well-being through fun and interactive yoga sessions. Classes are held at local elementary schools immediately after school and focus on movement, breathing techniques, mindfulness, relaxation, and social-emotional learning in a supportive environment. Responsibilities- Lead safe, engaging, and age-appropriate yoga classes for children (ages 5-11).
- Teach basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, stretching, balance, and mindfulness techniques.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Promote confidence, self-awareness, kindness, and emotional regulation.
- Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement.
- Arrive on time and prepared for each class.
- Ensure student safety at all times.
- Take attendance and communicate any concerns to the Program Coordinator.
- Maintain professionalism while representing We Are One Education on school campuses.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure a high-quality experience for students and families. Qualifications
- Experience teaching yoga to children or working with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Yoga instructor certification preferred (200-hour RYT or Kids Yoga certification is a plus but not required).
- Experience in education, childcare, recreation, coaching, or youth programs is highly desirable.
- Energetic, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create fun and engaging lessons that keep children active and involved.
- Reliable transportation to assigned school locations.
- Ability to pass a background check. Schedule
- Monday-Friday (based on assigned schools)
- Approximately 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
- Classes are held immediately after school during the academic year.
