Position Description:

Part-time afternoon position supporting elementary and middle school students in homework, enrichment, and fun. Teachers will be assigned to a specific grade-level class and conduct a daily activity following a provided lesson plan. Lessons and activities include reading, athletics, logic games, art, music, etc. Company description : Great Hearts Academies is a non-profit network of charter schools dedicated to improving education by developing excelling public schools. Qualifications:

Some college (preferably with education or liberal arts major), experience with children, excellent communication skills, and ability to lead and teach children.

Requirements:

Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by their start date.

Physical functions:

Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately. Great Hearts Texas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
