Position Summary:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Effectively perform all duties and tasks as defined by the job description and as requested by the campus principal.
Position Requirements:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate for Family and Consumer Sciences 6-12 Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned
Experience:
Proven performance as a qualified teacher
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Ability to oversee student field experiences in career area assigned Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
