Job Description

Middle School/High School Choir Teacher (part-time) Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic School seeks an experienced middle school/high school Choir Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The qualified candidate will possess the ability to bring the good, the true and the beautiful to life through music, demonstrating an appreciation for sacred choral music, chant, contemporary worship music, and different genres of secular music to be used in a variety of settings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Certification or ability to obtain certification required Master's Degree, and three or more years of teaching experience preferred Experience with concert, performance events, competitions, etc. preferred Possess or be willing to obtain teaching certification Must undergo a background check and complete the Ethics and Integrity Program of the
Diocese of Tyler, Texas Salary:
