LONG-TERM SUBBING ASSIGNMENT APPROXIMATELY 60 DAYS
•6.5 Hr Middle School Para (Bilingual Preferred) Job Description Assist teacher in providing small group and individual instruction. Assist teaching personnel in all areas of their work. Correct daily work assignments of students in all areas. Operate various pieces of equipment, ie, copy machines, video equipment, typewriters, computers, recorders, etc. Assist individual students in teacher-monitored classrooms. Assist teacher in monitoring individual student objectives. Other related duties as assigned by the building principal. Educational assistant will be responsible to the building principal. Provide for student's safety. Provide activities and instruction for this and other students as planned by the teacher. Assist with maintaining discipline. Assist students in other classes as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High School graduate, or GED. AA degree, or 48-semester credits or 72-quarter credits from an institution of higher education, or have successfully passed the Washington State Academic Assessment Praxis II Para Pro Test (WASST). Dependable, trustworthy, experience working with children and adults, good time manager, initiative Bilingual Preferred Terms of Employment
