Job Description

Position Summary:
 The group leader supervises and engages with children in grades 4K-5 during indoor and outdoor play at After School. The group leader is responsible for guiding their group of children and supporting the site supervisor in the program by helping with daily tasks such as snack preparation and program set-up and take-down.
Hours & Pay:
This is a school year position with the option to join our summer team Up to $17.75 per hour, pay is based on education and experience Part-time, up to 21 hours per week, Monday through Friday | Exact program hours vary by location, general hours are 2 - 6 p.m. Employment Benefits for Staff Working 18+ hours Include but are not Limited to: 10 paid holidays each school year 6 additional paid non-school days Fitness membership reimbursement Childcare benefit- enrollment in After School programs at a discounted rate, first child is no charge Paid training, professional development, and certifications. The Ideal Candidate:
Must be 18 years of age Has a high school diploma or GED Has the ability to supervise an active group of children Knows the importance of creating a safe environment for children Has experience working with children in any setting Values building relationships with children and families
Location:
We are currently hiring for various locations in the Madison, Waunakee, and Middleton school districts. Many Madison locations are located near bus lines and/or bike paths. After School programs take place in the school buildings under the direction of a site supervisor.
