Pay Rate:
$40+ based on experience and credentials Position Summary The Middle School Math Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction to middle school students in a general education setting. The teacher will implement curriculum and lesson plans, create a positive and structured learning environment, support students' academic growth, and collaborate with school administrators, staff, and parents to promote student success. Key Responsibilities
+ Teach middle school mathematics concepts aligned with district and state standards.
+ Implement daily instructional plans and adapt instruction to meet student needs.
+ Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
+ Monitor student progress and provide feedback on academic performance.
+ Assess student learning through classroom assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.
+ Manage classroom behavior and promote positive student engagement.
+ Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, administrators, and support staff regarding student progress and concerns.
+ Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with school policies, state regulations, and professional teaching standards. Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher.
+ Ability to effectively teach and explain mathematical concepts to middle school students.
+ Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to implement instructional plans and collaborate with educational stakeholders.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications
+ At least one year of classroom teaching experience.
+ Previous experience teaching mathematics at the middle school level.
+ CPR certification (if required by district or contract).
