PODER Academy Secondary School Middle School Math Teacher (Grades 7th-8th) The Mission PODER Secondary is an innovative college-prep school focused on proficiency. Student scores in the core subjects exceed national and state averages. Position Summary PODER Secondary is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy teaching math. Qualifications BA or BS degree Able to pass a background check Experience working with 7th and 8th grade and/or experience working with diverse students is a plus (not required) Multiple Certifications/Endorsements is a plus (not required) Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required) Responsibilities Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction Provide small group and individual instruction Provide weekly lesson plans to the Principal Collaborate with team members to develop innovative instruction techniques STEAM Club Compensation PODER Secondary is offering a competitive salary with excellent benefits (medical & dental for employee and dependents, employer matching retirement with the Wyoming Retirement System) and bonuses.
