Role:
We are an emerging contemporary art gallery seeking a highly organized, communicative, creative, and relationship-driven Gallery Coordinator to support daily operations, artist relations, art fairs, exhibitions, and marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to work closely with gallery leadership and contribute to the development of an emerging arts organization.
Key Resposibilities:
Coordinate communications and relationships with artists, curators, collectors, and gallery visitors Develop and coordinate artist talks, educational programs, workshops, and community engagement initiatives Assist with exhibition planning, workshops, installation, opening receptions, and special events Research and propose workshop concepts that align with the gallery's mission and exhibition programming Manage and create content for social media platforms and marketing campaigns Help maintain the gallery website, mailing lists, and promotional materials Support sales inquiries and collector outreach Maintain artwork inventory, records, and exhibition documentation Assist with day-to-day gallery operations and administrative tasks Represent the gallery professionally during public-facing events and exhibitions
Qualifications:
Strong interest in contemporary art and gallery operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with social marketing and content creation Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Experience in galleries, museums, arts organizations, or creative industries preferred Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools is a plus

Experience:
Bilingual preferred but not required 1 year in an arts, gallery, museum, marketing, or related role preferred Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, Art History, Arts Administration, Museum Studies, or related field preferred
Growth Opportunity:
This role is intended as a long-term opportunity within the gallery. As the gallery expands, the position may develop into a full-time leadership role with increased responsibility in artist relations, exhibition development, educational programming, marketing, and gallery operations.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
