Museum Educator San Mateo County Historical Association - 3.9 Redwood City, CA Job Details Part-time $22 - $23 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Some college In-person customer service High school diploma or GED Cultural competency Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds Working with students Cleaning Adult education Full Job Description The Museum Educator presents educational tours and hands-on activities to children and adults primarily at the San Mateo County History Museum in downtown Redwood City and occasionally at the Folger Stable at Wunderlich Park in Woodside. This position is on an as-needed basis. In general, the Museum Educator will work 6-15 hours per week during the school year. Ideal candidates will have reliable transportation to both the San Mateo County History Museum in downtown Redwood City and Folger Stables at Wunderlich Park in Woodside. The Museum Educator enhances the visitor experience through providing active, engaging tours and activities for mostly elementary school children.
