Job Description

The Evening Hotline Advocate is responsible for the shelter/hotline operations during the assigned work hours. Hours will be Saturday and Sunday 4pm-12am and evening hours through the week, depending on need.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
  • Education of experience commensurate with a high school diploma
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
  • Ability to assess and set priorities
  • Knowledge of community resources
DUTIES 1.
Provide crisis intervention and advocacy for victims of abuse, assault and violent crimes. 2. Admit participants to shelter, as approved by on call staff 3. Maintain up-to-date client files and related materials preparing statistical data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting 4. Report any mechanical problems to Office Manager. 6. Ensure that shelter rooms are prepared for new residents/families 7. Other duties as assigned.

Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
