Job Description Essential Duties:
Perform evening closing duties in the Johnson County Museum galleries, including re-setting and cleaning KidScape, re-setting and cleaning Museum interactives, cleaning display cases, and trash removal. Occasionally assist with setting up or tearing down after-hours Museum events in the gallery. Potential hours are 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with occasional additional evening hours for events in the gallery. Average 6-8 hours per week. $15.00 per hour
Location:
Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66212. Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements:
16 years and older. Must have strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to bend, lift, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Museum experience.
Education/Experience Substitutions:
Yes Experience may be substituted for degree. Yes Education may be substituted for experience. JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
