Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Museum Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help bring ski history and culture to life for diverse audiences. In this dynamic role, you will engage visitors through educational programs, assist with collection management, and support the overall operations of the museum. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through exhibits and programs Assist with educational activities, including hands-on workshops for children and adults Support collection management tasks such as cataloging artifacts, maintaining databases, and ensuring proper storage procedures Maintain accurate records of attendance, donations, and program participation using various databases Collaborate with staff on research projects related to the museum's collections and history Qualifications Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills with attention to detail Proficiency in social media management tools, Google suite and Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge and experience with POS systems Knowledge of collection cataloging systems and database management preferred Experience in fundraising activities or event planning is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about education, community engagement, and cultural preservation.
