Job Summary:
The Media & Art Resources Technician provides lab assistance and equipment circulation in support of Art, Music, Digital Media and Photography classes. This position manages the check out system, maintains printers, and provides customer support at the checkout window. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED Significant work experience in a customer service environment Demonstrated experience with Macintosh products
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in computer, electronic or media related field, or equivalent experience Supervisory experience Previous work experience in an educational environment Experience with file formatting, editing software, printers, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, and Adobe Suite Lansing Community College prohibits sex discrimination in any educational program or activity that it operates.
