Department Art and Drama Position Type Student Salary $9.00 / Per Hour Open Date 11/14/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary To provide support to the Joseph A. Cain Gallery and Art Department. This is accomplished by the following:
  • Monitoring all gallery visitors as they view the exhibitions in the gallery
  • Monitoring conditions in the gallery to prevent damage to artworks
  • Maintain cleanliness in the gallery
  • Keep a daily count of visitors
  • Assisting with exhibition mailers
  • Assisting the Gallery Director as needed Minimum Qualifications Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an art gallery. Special Instructions to Applicants This is a security-sensitive position.
