Department Art and Drama Position Type Non-Exempt Salary $10.00 / Per Hour Open Date 11/14/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary This position provides direct clerical assistance to the Department of Art & Drama, the Department Chair, and the department Administrative Assistant. Minimum Qualifications Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Proficient with social media platforms, such as Facebook, X, and Instagram. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with limited supervision on projects and tasks. Ability to lift at least 20 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience in office, library, art gallery, studio, and/or theatre settings. Special Instructions to Applicants This is a security-sensitive position. Job Duties Job Duty Assist with the following: Maintaining the Drama Archive Library. Updating annual equipment inventories for both the Art & Drama Programs. Promotions and marketing, including maintaining the department's social media and web presence and mailing lists. Cain Art Gallery monitoring. Setting up for special events, activities, and outreach projects. Maintaining common areas, including updating promotional slideshows on video monitors and display materials.
