Job Description

Duties include greeting and interacting with museum visitors and groups; processing admission fees; providing information about the museum, exhibits, programs and satellite locations; providing customer service to visitors while adhering to all policies and procedures; processing merchandise transactions in the museum store and helping manage museum store product inventory. Additional duties include answering telephone calls and providing information about museums, directions, programs, events, hours of operation; providing tours of permanent and temporary exhibitions; assisting as a facilitator in the Spark!

Lab; and helping to maintain the physical appearance of museum by keeping areas clean and organized, and reporting any custodial needs to the appropriate personnel. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience required. Schedule varies and will include morning, afternoon, evening, weekend and occasional holiday hours. Applicants must submit hours of availability with application.
PAY GRADE GG09 / FULL PAY RANGE
