No Position Purpose The Associate Director of Stewardship advances philanthropic engagement for the School of Arts & Sciences by ensuring donors are consistently and effectively informed of the use and impact of the initiatives they have supported. This role provides essential stewardship infrastructure to support donor trust, satisfaction, and longterm engagement. The Associate Director of Stewardship designs and delivers timely, accurate, and meaningful donor communications, builds and strengthens stewardship processes, and serves as a key partner to development colleagues, faculty, and staff to enhance the overall A&S donor experience. Description Required Qualifications Education and Yrs Exp Bachelor's degree Required Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of experience in Advancement, stewardship, donor relations, communications, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading, with the ability to produce polished donorcentered communications
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong technical literacy and comfort manipulating data; familiarity with Advance (or other similar databases), data visualization tools, data analysis, and reporting tools
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and problemsolving skills; strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and to gain the respect of senior officers, Development colleagues, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, growing environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to establish goals, and work independently and collaboratively in support of goals and projects
  • Commitment to teamwork and customer service excellence
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and adaptability in a newly established and evolving school context Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a higher education and/or a complex organization preferred
  • Familiarity with donor relations and stewardship reporting best practices
  • Experience supporting major and principal gift stewardship
  • Familiarity with design programs
