Our mission is to provide high-quality music education in a positive, supportive, encouraging, and family-friendly environment. We are currently building our founding team of instructors and are seeking passionate educators who are committed to helping students develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Responsibilities Teach private lessons and/or group classes Work with students of varying ages and skill levels Work with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures Create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students Monitor student progress and assist students in achieving their musical goals Participate in studio recitals and events Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff Qualifications We are looking for the following: Bachelor's degree in music, music education, or a related field preferred; equivalent education, teaching experience, or strong performance experience will also be considered Passionate about music education and helping students develop their musical skills and confidence Reliable and professional at all times Patient, positive, and encouraging with students Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults Comfortable working with students of diverse learning needs and abilities, including those with ADHD, autism, and other developmental or learning differences Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Team-oriented and willing to contribute to a positive studio culture Teaching experience is strongly preferred but not required for every position. Instrument Proficiency We are currently accepting applications from teachers who have experience teaching and/or performing at a high level on one or more of the following instruments: Piano Voice (Classical, and Contemporary) Guitar (Electric, Acoustic, and Classical) Drumset Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass) Woodwinds (Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone) Brass (Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, French Horn) Schedule Schedules are built around student enrollment and instructor availability. The following is our tentative operating schedule: Weekday afternoons and evenings Saturdays all day Sundays all day Teaching schedules will be based on student enrollment, instructor availability, and demand for the instructor's instrument(s) Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience, instrument specialty, and lesson format. Additional compensation opportunities may be available for group classes, workshops, performances, and special events. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
