Music Production Instructor (Logic Pro & GarageBand)

Part-Time (After-School Hours) Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Music Production Instructor to teach students ages 8-14. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Logic Pro and GarageBand and enjoys working with children in a creative and educational environment. Responsibilities Teach music production fundamentals using Logic Pro and GarageBand Instruct students in beat-making, recording, arranging, and basic mixing Adapt lessons to different age groups and skill levels (ages 8-14) Foster a fun, supportive, and structured learning environment Track student progress and provide constructive feedback Prepare students for projects, showcases, or performances (if applicable) Maintain studio equipment, including software updates and cable management Qualifications Strong proficiency in Logic Pro and GarageBand Experience in music production, recording, or composition Understanding of recording studio workflow Ability to troubleshoot studio equipment and technical issues Knowledge of audio plugins and ability to explain concepts in a simple, age-appropriate way Prior teaching or experience working with children/teens preferred Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about music education
