Calling All Local Musicians:
Music Instructors Wanted! All experience levels are welcome to apply. Industry-leading benefits and perks for part-time employment! Santee Music Academy is growing! Together with our sister location, we serve more than 1,500 students each week and support a team of over 50 music instructors. SCMA was recently recognized on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and as a Top 10 National Music School of the Year . We are looking for fun, dependable, and outgoing musicians who love working with students of all levels, from complete beginners through advanced players. Are you tired of cleaning your home before students arrive, driving all over town between lessons, or spending unpaid time scheduling makeups and managing families? We make teaching easier. We schedule your students and help keep your schedule full. You receive a consistent weekly teaching schedule. You are paid when a student does not show up. Our office team handles billing, scheduling, and parent communication. We provide comfortable, professionally maintained teaching spaces, including dependable air conditioning! Instructors can participate in recitals, Rock Bands, group ensembles, and other performance programs. Additional leadership opportunities and potential bonuses are available for instructors interested in leading ensembles or taking on expanded responsibilities. Hours are flexible and built around your availability. No degree is required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed. This is an employee position, not independent-contractor work. Team members receive employment benefits and perks, with opportunities to grow as SCMA continues expanding.
