School programs would begin August 2026, with planning and training beginning. We are looking for highly qualified & versatile instructors to join our team of effective and caring music educators. Instructors will begin on part-time, employees. Beginning hourly rate is $32.50 with opportunity to discuss a raise after 90 days of employment Lessons are to be taught on site, in person. We are in need of one on one music teachers as well as assistance with a beginning concert band group class. We provide dental, telemedicine, accrued sick leave, and professional development workshops.
Applicant Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or greater in related field. Previous teaching experience a plus. Positive and Effective classroom management skills Good people skills: works well with both children and adults, and enjoys building client relationships
Timely & Reliable:
though we appreciate the gigging musician, we are not looking for musicians who regularly ask off to travel and record. Consistency in lessons is important to student growth & success. Good time management skills A positive attitude during instruction: the ability to encourage and motivate students to work through their weak areas and to build upon their strengths. The desire to collaborate with a team to create a high quality, yet fun, music education environment. -Must love teaching- the desire to make teaching your career is a big plus!
