We're especially looking for multi-instrumentalists and teachers who teach piano. Our Whole Music Approach goes beyond reading notes on a page - we value teachers who not only read music but also play by ear, improvise, and most importantly, love working with kids. We also appreciate our teachers encouraging our students in the process of composing their own music. What You'll Do Teach private, in-home lessons in piano, violin, guitar, and/or other instruments Teach fundamental music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, and music theory across various styles and genres Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to families Participate in performances, recitals, and other events that showcase student achievements Collaborate with other DaVinci educators and staff Schedule & Availability Weekday afternoons/evenings, Monday-Thursday Typical lesson hours: 3:00-7:00

PM Minimum:

2 afternoons/evenings per week

Ideal:

3-4 afternoons/evenings per week. We often have families inquire about weekend lessons, too. Greater availability generally leads to faster studio growth How Studio Growth Works Teachers typically begin with 3-4 students and grow to 1, 2, or 3+ days of teaching (3-4 hours per day). We aim to build efficient teaching routes and group students geographically whenever possible. Teachers approve commute areas before any student placement.

Current areas of need:

Southeast Denver Metro, Saddle Rock, Lone Tree, and Centennial. Qualifications Experience teaching private lessons and/or working with children strongly preferred Ability to read music, play by ear, and improvise Must have reliable transportation for travel to students' homes Ability to maintain a consistent weekly teaching schedule during the school year University seniors and recent graduates from music programs are encouraged to apply Compensation & Structure This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
