What You'll Do Teach engaging, personalized music lessons in students' homes. Build genuine relationships with students and their families. Adapt your teaching to each student's personality, goals, interests, and learning style. Help students develop both musical skills and the confidence to use them. Keep students motivated and excited about continuing their musical journey. Communicate professionally with parents and families about student progress. Continue developing your own teaching abilities and musicianship as you gain experience. Prepare students for performances, recitals, auditions, or other musical goals when appropriate. Become a consistent, trusted presence in the lives of the students you teach.
