Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Vocal & Piano Coach to inspire and develop the musical talents of students across a variety of age groups and skill levels. This role offers an opportunity to foster creativity, build confidence, and cultivate a love for the arts through engaging instruction in vocal techniques and piano performance. The ideal candidate will bring energy, expertise, and a nurturing approach to help students achieve their musical goals while enjoying a positive learning environment. This paid position is perfect for someone dedicated to arts education and eager to make a meaningful impact on aspiring musicians. Duties Design and implement comprehensive curriculum plans for vocal and piano lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels Conduct engaging, energetic, and motivating lessons that incorporate proper vocal techniques, piano skills, music theory, and performance strategies Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all students Provide constructive and positive feedback to students on their progress, encouraging growth in technique, expression, and stage presence Oversee student in-studio performances, recitals, or showcases when possible Collaborate with parents and guardians when it comes to scheduling (after student is initially scheduled) Maintain records of student attendance and payment Experience Competency in piano and vocal techniques Additional instruments welcome Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate behavior management strategies and classroom experience principles Waldron's Studio 88 isn't just a studio, it's a family.
