Position Summary:

The Music School of Delaware is seeking a passionate and Violin/Viola Teacher to join our distinguished faculty at our Wilmington and/or Milford Campuses. This is a part-time position (3-12 hours per week) within our Strings Department. The successful candidate will teach private violin/viola lessons at our Wilmington and/or Milford locations. This position requires availability for afternoon and evening hours . The role is ideal for an educator who is energetic, imaginative, and eager to help expand access to violin and viola across diverse communities.

Job description:

Piano Teacher, 3-12 hours per week

Position Summary:

The Music School of Delaware is seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Teacher to join our distinguished faculty at our Wilmington and/or Milford Campuses. This is a part-time position (3-12 hours per week) within our Keyboard Department. The successful candidate will teach private keyboard lessons (piano, possibly harpsichord or organ if this is an option) at our Wilmington and/or Milford locations. This position requires availability for afternoon and evening hours. The role is ideal for an educator who is energetic, imaginative, and eager to help expand access to piano across diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan for and teach engaging private lessons for children as young as 7 years old through adults Provide expert instruction in encouraging, engaging private lessons Participate in department meetings and school events, as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance or Music Education Strong skills on a primary instrument Warm, engaging presence with children and families, as well as with adult students Ability to commute to Wilmington and/or

Milford, DE Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to develop appropriate strong, inspiring, and motivating relationships with students of all ages A deep commitment to supporting the growth of the whole person in each student Courses and study in pedagogy
