Position Summary:

The Music School of Delaware is seeking a passionate and skilled Voice Teacher to join our distinguished faculty at our Wilmington and/or Milford Campuses. This is a part-time position (3-12 hours per week) within our Vocal & Choral Department. The successful candidate will teach private voice lessons at our Wilmington and/or Milford locations. This position requires availability for afternoon and evening hours. The role is ideal for an educator who is energetic, imaginative, and eager to help expand access to piano across diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan for and teach engaging private lessons for young people ages 13 years old through adults Provide expert instruction and encouraging, engaging private lessons Participate in department meetings and school events, as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance or Music Education Strong skills on a primary instrument/voice Warm, engaging presence with children and families, as well as with adult students Ability to commute to Wilmington and/or

Milford, DE Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to develop appropriate strong, inspiring, and motivating relationships with students of all ages A deep commitment to supporting the growth of the whole person in each student Experience in courses in pedagogy
