The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages, from kindergarten children to adults. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their musical skills through personalized instruction. My studio focuses heavily on healthy vocal production rooted in diaphragmatic breathing technique. Some vocal pedagogy knowledge is required. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students. Teach vocal technique and performance skills. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and growth. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Help organize recitals and performance opportunities for students to showcase their skills. Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any behavioral management strategies needed as well as scheduling. Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and curriculum development in music education. Experience Previous experience in teaching voice or music education is preferred. Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development is essential. Experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings is a plus. Strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive classroom environment. A passion for music and the ability to inspire students of varying ages and skill levels.
