The instructor will teach applied violin to majors and non-majors and actively engage in recruiting for their studio. Salary is competitive to other adjunct positions in area, and additional classroom teaching opportunities may become available. Job Description Summary:

Teach applied violin lessons during the 2026 fall semester.

Responsibilities Responsibilities:

Teach one or more classes Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members, department chair, or directors when necessary Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:

Required:

Masters degree or significant professional experience is required. Strong commitment to teaching and recruitment. Ability to teach beginner to advanced students.

Preferred Qualifications Desirable:

College teaching experience. Active performance career. Experience teaching improvisation. Experience teaching popular music performance. Essential Duties Work hours
