Lake Park High School is hiring for the temporary position of Color Guard Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year as detailed below:

JOB SUMMARY
This is a seasonal stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires weekday availability from June 1, 2026, to June 11, 2026 (for early summer band camp), from July 20, 2026, to July 31, 2026 (for regular summer band camp), and during the regular season from August to October 30, 2026 (anticipated) , and the following scheduled hours: June 1-4 from 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. June 8-11 from 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. July 20-23 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. July 27-31 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION A
Color Guard Instructor supports the instruction and performance of Lake Park High School's color guard program. Responsibilities include teaching basic choreography and equipment techniques (flag and rifle), assisting with show design, supporting rehearsals and performances, and maintaining and organizing equipment to ensure it is clean, safe, and performance-ready. This role works closely with the Color Guard Director and Assistant Director to foster student growth and a positive team environment. It also provides valuable experience for individuals interested in developing the skills needed to lead and direct a color guard group.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Proven interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Experience preferred with high school color guard, but not necessary Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
SALARY RANGE
$1,802 - $4,504 salary will be prorated for weeks worked and is based on prior paid contract experience per
Appendix E:
Co-Curricular Salary Schedule (Level H) of the District 108 Negotiated Agreement .
