Job Description

Drum Instructor (Part-Time) - Inspire the Next Generation of Musicians Join the Team at Zachary Music Academy! Are you a passionate drummer who loves teaching and inspiring students? Zachary Music Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Drum Instructor to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can help students build confidence, develop strong musical foundations, and foster a lifelong love of music.
Position Details Position:
Drum Instructor (Part-Time)
Location:
Zachary Music Academy, Zachary, Louisiana Schedule:
Primarily afternoon and evening hours, Monday-Friday (with potential for Saturday lessons) Responsibilities Teach private drum lessons to students ages 4 through adult. Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to each student's goals. Teach fundamentals including rhythm, technique, reading music, and performance skills. Encourage student growth through positive, professional instruction. Track student progress and communicate with parents when needed. Prepare students for recitals, performances, and special events. Qualifications Strong proficiency in drum set and percussion. Previous teaching experience preferred but not required. Ability to teach beginners through intermediate students. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Passion for helping students succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What We Offer Consistent student referrals. Flexible scheduling.
